In Crimea there are 2 main categories of accommodation: hotels and flats, which range in price from $35 to $100 or more per night. Few of these accommodations can be booked directly through the Internet, and even fewer have an English language service.

There are some large, international standard, full service hotels, then there are smaller more cosy hotels with just a few rooms, which are invariably run by the owner who lives on the premises and provides assistance to his or her guests. These hotels typically have less services that the bigger hotels, but they can be big on charm and character. Some of them have kitchens for their guests to use. Flats come in all shapes and sizes. You can rent flats that are still decorated as in the Soviet era, or in some places you can rent luxury flats that have been fully Westernized, and that are very luxurious.
